Brookstone Homes Sponsors Safety Programs for Lake Mills Police Department
December 21, 2007 -
The city of Lake Mills, known for its beauty and serenity, is hardly the type of community in which crime is a major concern. To help the Lake Mills Police Department keep it that way, Brookstone Homes has pledged to support the department’s 2008 safety and crime prevention programs.
“Lake Mills is certainly not a crime-ridden community, but the programs offered by the Lake Mills Police Department help to keep the community safe and healthy. We want to help them do that and preserve the old time charm of the city,” says Casey Masterson, marketing director for Brookstone Homes.
The Brookstone Homes sponsorship will support a variety of programs including neighborhood watch, bicycle safety, D.A.R.E. (Drug Abuse Resistance Education), G.R.E.A.T. (Gang Resistance Education and Training), and Vial for Life (a program that provides seniors with a method of informing emergency medical personnel of any special medical needs).
Brookstone Homes was established in 1994 and has several great community locations throughout the Wisconsin area. Brookstone Homes believes in being a good neighbor and giving back to the communities in which they are located. This project is just one of many philanthropic efforts sponsored by the company.
